Ajman, UAE — 19 May 2026: Thumbay Group today broke ground on the UAE’s first private veterinary teaching hospital and college, a project that will care for both small and large animals under one roof and train the next generation of veterinarians on home soil. The ceremony took place at Thumbay Medicity, Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, who attended as Chief Guest, alongside Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of Thumbay Group.

مجموعة ثومبي تضع حجر أساس أول مستشفى تعليمي بيطري خاص ، وكلية ثومبي للطب البيطري في عجمان

سمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي يضع حجر الأساس لمستشفى ثومبي البيطري وكلية ثومبيللطب البيطري، مدشناً  بذلك فصلاً جديداً في مسيرة الرعاية الصحية الحيوانية والتعليم الطبي البيطري في الدولة.

وضعت مجموعة ثومبي اليوم حجر الأساس لأول مستشفى تعليمي بيطري وكلية خاصة للطب البيطري في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة،وهو مشروع رائد يهدف إلى تقديم رعاية صحية شاملة للحيوانات الصغيرة والكبيرة تحت سقف واحد، وإعداد وتدريب الجيل القادم من الأطباء البيطريين على أرض الوطن.

أقيمهذا الاحتفال في مدينة ثومبي الطبية  “ثومبي ميديستي” بعجمان، بحضور كريم من صاحب السمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي، ولي عهد عجمان ورئيس المجلس التنفيذيللإمارة ، بصفته ضيف الشرف الرئيسي، وبمشاركة الدكتور ثومبي محي الدين، الرئيس المؤسس لمجموعة ثومبي.

حتى يومنا هذا، كانت كانت خدمات الرعاية والتعليم البيطري المتقدمفي دولة الإمارات تعتمد بشكل أساسي على المؤسسات الحكومية أو الدراسة في الخارج. إلى أن جاء مستشفى ثومبي البيطري وكلية ثومبي للطب البيطري ليسدا هذه الفجوة. يقدم المستشفى خدمات علاجية شاملة للحيوانات الأليفة كالكلاب والقطط والحيوانات الغريبة، إلى جانب الحيوانات الكبيرة كالخيول والجمال والمواشي. كما يعتزم المشروع في مرحلته المقبلة إنشاء مزرعة تعليمية تتيحلطلاب كلية ثومبي للطب البيطري تدريباً عملياً ومباشراً في طب الحيوانات الإنتاجية، وصحة القطعان، وإدارة المزارع. وتجدر الإشارة هنا  بان كلية ثومبي للطب البيطري تدار تحت مظلة جامعة الخليج الطبية (GMU)، المؤسسة الأكاديمية الرائدة لمجموعة ثومبي. ويمكن الاطلاع على مزيد من المعلومات عن  الجامعة وآلية القبول عبر موقعها الإلكتروني: gmu.ac.ae.
