The book fair also marked its highest-ever global participation this year,
with the presence of 109 nations from around the world

  • SIBF 2023 shelves held 15 million books in various fields of knowledge and creativity.
  • SIBF 2023 welcomed 2,033 publishers from 109 countries
  • SIBF 2023 celebrated South Korea as the Guest of Honour; and Ibrahim Al-Koni as Cultural Personality of the Year.
  • Nobel-nominated Ibrahim Al-Koni signed a historic contract with the Sharjah Literary Agency during SIBF 2023.

نجوم الغانم تضيء مكامن الشعر في روحها وتقرأ “البحر والأفق في ممر ضيق”

نظمت مجموعة كلمات أمسية شعرية للشاعرة والمخرجة الإماراتية نجوم الغانم، في فندق “ذا تشيدي البيت” بالشارقة، أطلقت خلالها ديوانها الشعري الصادر حديثاً “البحر والأفق في ممر ضيق”، بالتزامن مع فعاليات الدورة الـ42 من معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب، وحضر الأمسية نخبة من الأدباء والكتاب والمثقفين الإماراتيين والعرب.

Purple, pink, yellow, fuchsia, and bright flowers sat in little planters till children attending the hands-on Agriculture Workshop at the 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) 2023 reached for their favourite colour and began potting excitedly.

خلال ندوة في “الشارقة الدولي للكتاب 2023”

خبراء وتربويون يحددون أساسيات الأسرة السعيدة

أجمع خبراء في التنمية وتطوير الذات أن أساسيات الأسرة السعيدة تتركز في وجود النقاط المشتركة، والحياة التكاملية، والاحترام، والتفاهم، وقبول الاختلاف، والقدرة على الاستماع بالحياة.

جاء ذلك في ندوة نظمتها جمعية الاجتماعيين في الشارقة، بعنوان “مقومات الأسرة الناجحة” في “معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب 2023″، وشارك فيها الدكتور علي اليماحي استشاري تنمية الذات، والدكتورة وفاء مصطفى استشارية التنمية البشرية وتطوير الذات، وعبدالله الحوسني نائب الرئيس التنفيذي في شركة أركان للتدريب، وأدارتها الدكتورة رقية الريسي عضو مجلس إدارة جمعية الاجتماعيين.
