Signed by MI Emirates for USD 140,000 ahead of Season 4, Rohid emerged as the fifth-most expensive acquisition in the auction, reflecting the growing faith franchises have in UAE talent and the increasing value of homegrown players in the competition. The moment was not only a personal milestone but also a strong endorsement of the opportunities the DP World ILT20 continues to create for local cricketers.

AD Ports Group Partners with Team Abu Dhabi for 2026 F1H2O

AD Ports Group Signs Official Logistics Partnership with Team Abu Dhabi for the 2026 UIM F1H2O World Championship

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 16 July 2026: AD Ports Group (ADX: ADPORTS), a global enabler of integrated trade, industry and logistics solutions, has signed a logistics partnership agreement with Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, under which AD Ports Group becomes the Official Logistics Partner of Team Abu Dhabi F1H2O for the 2026 UIM F1H2O World Championship.

The agreement was signed by Sultan Al Ghaithi, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, AD Ports Group, and Thani Al Qamzi, Executive Director of Team Abu Dhabi, representing Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from both organisations.

New MOU Enhances Boxer Safety and Brain Health in UAE

New MOU expands access to optional comprehensive pre-fight brain health and performance assessments alongside mandatory MRI examinations for professional boxers across the UAE

Dubai, U.A.E., 13 July 2026 – The Brain & Performance Centre, A DP World Company, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with the UAE Athletic Commission to strengthen athlete safety and elevate medical standards across professional boxing events in the UAE. Under the partnership, the Centre will serve as one of the Commission’s approved medical service providers for comprehensive pre-fight brain health and performance assessments.

All professional boxers competing in sanctioned UAE events are required to undergo a pre-fight MRI examination as part of the mandatory medical clearance process. In addition, athletes will have the option to undergo a broader, comprehensive brain health and performance assessment at the Centre. These optional assessments complement the mandatory MRI examination by providing additional objective neurological and performance data ahead of competition.

*Dubai, 14 July 2026:* The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the global winners of the ICC Development Awards 2025, celebrating the outstanding programmes, initiatives and performances driving the growth of cricket around the globe. The award ceremony took place in Edinburgh, Scotland during the ICC Annual Conference  which concluded last weekend.


This year’s ICC Development Awards winners were selected from the regional nominees announced in June, recognising excellence across seven categories spanning development and participation, female cricket initiatives, team performances, digital engagement and social impact.
The Emirates Cricket Board had an immensely successful year in 2025 and left the gala event with three prizes.
