  • Mall of the Emirates follows successful openings of Primark in Dubai Mall and City Centre Mirdif, building on the regional brand debut in Kuwait last year
  • To mark the celebration, Primark and Alshaya Group thank Dubai for the warm welcome to the region

Kuwait | 21May 2026 15:00 GST: Primark, the international fashion retailer known for its affordable fashion and everyday essentials, has officially opened its third store in Dubai at Mall of the Emirates, in partnership with Alshaya Group.

The Primark Mall of the Emirates store has opened its ground floor space, offering over 36,000 square feet of retail space in a spacious, modern shopping environment. The first floor is set to open later in the year, adding a further 8,500 square feet and expanding the overall store experience. Once complete, the store will form one of Primark’s largest locations in Dubai and will employ over 400 colleagues.

Primark Launches First Store in Dubai Mall

PRIMARK OPENS ITS FIRST STORE IN DUBAI IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ALSHAYA GROUP

  • Primark has officially opened its doors in The Dubai Mall, marking the retailer’s second store in the Middle East and first store in the UAE
  • In partnership with Alshaya Group, Primark set to open an additional two stores in Dubai in April and May, followed by Bahrain and Qatar later this year.

Kuwait | 26 March 2026 10:00 GST: Today, international fashion retailer Primark, in partnership with Alshaya Group, made its highly anticipated UAE debut with the opening of its first store in the iconic Dubai Mall. The opening marks an important step in the retailer’s international expansion as it enters its 19th market globally.

The store was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, Her Excellency, Alison Milton, the Irish Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar & Kuwait, and Ghansham Pindoria, Vice President of Primark Middle East, marking the exciting entry of the brand in Dubai.
