Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 8, 2026: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Dubai Campus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odoo Middle East DMCC, a company providing a suite of open-source business applications used by more than 13 million people worldwide, to strengthen practical, industry-aligned technology education for engineering and IT students. The partnership, developed in collaboration with MAHE Dubai’s School of Engineering & IT, formalises Odoo’s Education Program at the university and opens a structured pathway between the classroom and the technology industry.

Landmark findings in pancreatic, lung, liver, and prostate cancer mark one of MSK’s most significant contributions to cancer research in recent years

ABU DHABI, DUBAI, RIYADH, DOHA, 7th July 2026. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) has announced significant research advances across four cancers where patients have long faced limited options.

The findings, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, the world’s largest gathering of cancer specialists, include the first drug to successfully target the genetic fault driving nine in ten pancreatic cancers, a major step forward in preventing lung cancer recurrence, and new options for patients with advanced liver and prostate cancer. For patients across the Gulf region, where these cancers carry a particularly high burden, the advances have direct relevance.

Dubai, UAE – Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has successfully concluded its participation at GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin.

To highlight the opportunities offered by Dubai’s digital economy ecosystem, the Chamber showcased Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global hub for the digital economy to 287 European startups and scaleups at its pavilion during the exhibition. The Chamber highlighted the strengths of Dubai’s digital economy ecosystem and the opportunities for companies to expand into the emirate.
