H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Maktoum Signs Deal to Bring Cutting-Edge Drone Technology to the United Arab Emirates;

Aligns with Operation 300bn Vision to Make Industrial Sector Main Driver in UAE Economy

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 28 November 2022 – H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, Chairman of RAM Investment Ltd., has signed a cooperation agreement with Hungarian-owned Genevation Aircraft Ltd. to invest in cutting-edge aerospace product development in line with the UAE’s ‘Operation 300bn’. Launched last year, Operation 300bn aims to make the industrial sector the main driver of UAE’s economy, contributing AED300 billion to the GDP by 2031, more than doubling its current contribution.

Ministry of Economy reviews new family business law underlining its role in enhancing UAE’s position as a hub for family businesses

Law to come into force in January 2023

Abu Dhabi, 28 November 2022

The Ministry of Economy organized a media briefing today in Abu Dhabi to introduce the Federal Decree Law No. 37 of 2022 on family businesses, which forms part of the comprehensive and the long-term program adopted by the UAE government to enhance and raise the family business environment in the country to globally competitive levels. These efforts are set to enhance the sector’s role as a major contributor to national economic growth and a key partner in the UAE’s sustainable development over the next 50 years.

The World Triathlon Championship Series kick off will take place in Abu Dhabi from 3 – 4 March 2023.

Abu Dhabi, 28th November 2023: With the World Triathlon 2022 season coming to a thrilling close in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and World Triathlon today announced that the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series will start exactly where it left, in the UAE capital, and finish in Spain, with the 2023 Championship Finals in Pontevedra next September.
