Dubai Holding SkyRun 2022 Concludes with a New Set of Historic Records in Stairclimbing and New Stairclimbing World Champions

- Dubai Holding’s flagship event of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2022 witnessed the participation of hundreds of runners, including 12 teams, 19 international elite runners and 81 female runners, indicating a 12% female increase over the race’s previous edition in 2019
- Tackling 52 floors of Jumeirah Emirates Towers, a new course record was set by the fastest male runner, Soh Wai Ching, who completed the course in 6 minutes 52 seconds, winning the first ever ISF Stairclimbing World Championships.
- The fastest female elite runner and first female Stairclimbing World Champion, Yuri Yoshizumi, finished in 8 minutes 14 seconds, and the fastest team, First Collection Team B, finished in 17 minutes and 14 seconds.

- 78-year-old Giovanni Potenza completed the course a record four consecutive times for the first time in the 17-year history of Dubai Holding SkyRun
- Runners spanned 40 nationalities and various age groups, ranging from 16 to 78
- All proceeds donated to Al Jalila Foundation’s Majlis Al Amal cancer wellbeing centre
