Sharjah Asset Management Explores Promising Investment Opportunities in Advanced Technology and the Digital Economy During Official Visit to China

Sharjah, 23June, 2026:

As part of efforts to expand economic and investment cooperation between Sharjah and China, Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, participated as part of a high-level delegation comprising several governmental and economic entities in the Emirate, in an official visit to the cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, China. The visit aimed to explore promising investment opportunities in advanced technology, the digital economy, sustainable energy, and high-value manufacturing, as well as to participate in the “AIM Talks China 2026” conference.

The company’s delegation included Omar Al Mulla, Chief Executive Officer – Osool Investment; Rashid Bourahima, Executive Director – Osool Investment; and Manal Al Hilo, Senior Portfolio Manager.

Sharjah Asset Management and Kalba Municipal Council Discuss Ways to Enhance Joint Cooperation

 Sharjah,12 May, 2025:

 Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, held a coordination meeting with the Municipal Council of Kalba at Souq Al Jubail in Kalba. The meeting aimed to enhance joint cooperation and align efforts between the two parties to support the development of markets in the Eastern Region and contribute to improving the services provided to visitors and shoppers.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Sultan Al Ketbi, Chief Officer Al Jubail and Sharjah Livestock Markets, Youssef Al Zaabi, Managing Director of the Food and Hospitality Sector, and Hilal Al Naqbi, Manger of Eastern Region Markets, From the Kalba Municipal Council, the meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council, along with a number of council members and administrators at Souq Al Jubail in Kalba.
