Ras Al Khaimah, 8 June 2026: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) brought together business leaders, sustainability experts, and industry stakeholders for a knowledge-sharing event titled ‘ESG Simplified – What’s Mandatory, What’s Smart, and What Comes Next’, aimed at helping companies better understand evolving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements and identify practical pathways towards more sustainable operations.

The event featured presentations from RAKEZ, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality’s Energy Efficiency and Renewables Office (Reem), DHL Express UAE, and Olive Gaea, offering practical insights into the evolving ESG landscape and the opportunities available to businesses as sustainability considerations become increasingly integrated into regulatory frameworks, supply chains, and investment decisions.

RAKEZ kicks off Growth Series 2025 with AI event for small businesses

Ras Al Khaimah, 4 February 2025: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) successfully launched the first event of its Growth Series 2025, “AI on a Budget: Affordable Tools and Smart Automation for Small Businesses,” attracting a diverse group of entrepreneurs eager to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) without significant investment.

The event, hosted at Compass Coworking Centre, featured expert-led sessions from Raizor Vice President–AI Solutions Savio Tovar Dias, and Koshima.ai founders Carlo Pepe and Rob Hayes. These industry leaders demonstrated practical AI tools and strategies, emphasising how small businesses can use smart automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness economically.

Ras Al Khaimah, 30 January 2025: His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed the signing of significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) during the ‘UAE-India: Partnership for Enduring Prosperity’ forum, held recently at the Waldorf Astoria, Ras Al Khaimah. The forum brought together leaders and innovators to strengthen economic collaboration between the UAE and India.

The MoUs, signed between Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and key Indian entities such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), aim to bolster trade and investment opportunities. The agreement with CII focuses on facilitating the growth of Indian businesses by providing tailored support, hosting industry events, and promoting Indian enterprises within the RAKEZ ecosystem. Meanwhile, the MoU with MIDC emphasises strengthening trade ties between Ras Al Khaimah and Maharashtra by fostering investor connections, promoting a business-friendly environment, and collaborating on mutually beneficial projects.

RAKEZ enters into collaboration with UICC to strengthen UAE-India economic partnership

Ras Al Khaimah, 20 September 2024: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC), marking a significant step in bolstering the UAE-India bilateral economic partnership.

The MoU was signed by RAKEZ Chief Government and Corporate Relations Officer Yaser Abdulla Al Ahmed and UICC Director  Ahmed Aljneibi. The signing ceremony took place during the UAE-India Business Forum held in Mumbai, India.
