Abu Dhabi, 09 December, 2025: The Desert Vipers were the victors in yet another thrilling clash, beating MI Emirates by one run at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. The win, which went down to the last ball, was the Vipers’ fourth-straight triumph of the DP World ILT20 Season 4. The Vipers consolidated their position as the table-toppers with eight points to their name.

Dubai, 08 December, 2025: The Desert Vipers held their nerves to prevail in the first-ever Super Over of the DP World ILT20, beating the Gulf Giants at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday. Sam Curran (44 off 36) and Dan Lawrence’s (56 off 31) partnership ensured the Vipers tied the scores, despite a challenging target of 180. The Vipers have overcome the Giants in each of their previous five encounters.

وانطلقت النسخة الأولى من البطولة في مدينة سان خوان ببورتوريكو مطلع شهر ديسمبر الجاري، بمشاركة عشرين فريقًا للرجال وثمانية عشر فريقًا للسيدات من لاعبي الأولمبياد الخاص وشركائهم الموحدين من مختلف دول العالم. وشارك الأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي ببعثة تضم ثلاثة لاعبين من ذوي التحديات الذهنية والنمائية وشريكين موحدين، إلى جانب الجهازين الفني والإداري.
وبهذه المناسبة، صرح سعادة طلال الهاشمي، المدير الوطني للأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي: “نحتفل اليوم بإنجاز استثنائي جديد يؤكد قدرة لاعبينا على المنافسة عالميًا وتحقيق البطولات. لقد قدم الفريق أداءً بطوليًا، وكانوا على قدر الثقة والمسؤولية وهم يمثلون دولة الإمارات في هذا المحفل الدولي. ونتشرف بأن نهدي هذا الفوز إلى صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة حفظه الله الداعم الأول لأصحاب الهمم، فقد وفرت توجيهاته بيئة تمكين جعلت من هذه اللحظة واقعًا نفخر به جميعًا. هذا اللقب هو ثمرة العمل المشترك بين اللاعبين والأجهزة الفنية والإدارية وشركائنا الداعمين، وهو خطوة جديدة في مسيرة تطور رياضة أصحاب الهمم في دولة الإمارات”.
