to identify and empower UAE’s next fashion prodigy

  • An impact investment initiative designed by Sheraa & Arada to scout the next generation of modest wear and home-based brands based in Sharjah or looking to expand in the emirate
  • Contest targets UAE-based designers and university students who need to send their applications before September 21
  • Selected candidates will receive pitch training by Sheraa’s expert mentors; winner will be offered a showcase opportunity at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2023
  • Winner will be offered a 3-month rent-free stand at the Artal boutique in Sharjah & review and advisory support by Arada, a leading real estate developer in the UAE

Rita Kazazian, of Armenian-Syrian origin, has established herself in the world of fashion, beauty, and fashion through her dedication and hard work, becoming a well-known name in this field. Her love for the world of fashion began at the age of seven when she enjoyed drawing dresses. At the age of 18, she started designing dresses for her friends, which received admiration.

She then embarked on developing herself in the world of fashion through learning, following trends, and taking courses to refine her talent. Today, Rita designs and creates the most beautiful dresses with unique and distinctive designs. She aspires to further evolve in the fashion industry, establish her own fashion label, and organize a grand haute couture fashion show.

KERING EYEWEAR COMPLETES THE ACQUISITION OF MAUI JIM


In accordance with the terms disclosed on March 14th, 2022 and following clearance from the antitrust authorities, Kering Eyewear today announced that it now holds more than 90% of the iconic sunglass brand
Maui Jim, with the remaining shares expected to be acquired by year-end. Maui Jim will be consolidated in Kering accounts starting from October 1st, 2022.
