Baseball United Expands Reach of its Middle East Franchises

The league’s two UAE Franchises will now be called the Arabia Wolves and Mid East Falcons

DUBAI, UAE (March 26, 2024) – Baseball United, the first professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, announced today the evolution and expansion of its two UAE-based franchises based on the growing demand for professional baseball in the region. The Dubai Wolves will now be called the Arabia Wolves, and the Abu Dhabi Falcons have been renamed the Mid East Falcons.

NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY SEES STRONG PARTICIPATION IN ITS MOVE FOR MS CAMPAIGN

  • The initiative, launched during the holy month of Ramadan, coincides with MS Awareness Month, which is celebrated globally during the month of March
  • Distance covered as part of Move for MS exceeds 84,000 kilometers by more than 2,000 participants

Abu Dhabi, 25 March 2024Aligned with global MS Awareness month observed in March every year, the National MS Society (NMSS) launched the “Move for MS” initiative at the start of Ramadan to motivate the community to support people living with MS. Move for MS champions people living with MS through a range of inclusive sports activities. Whether it’s walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, hiking, or any other form of physical engagement, participants of all abilities can join in. The initiative also aims to foster a culture of giving by encouraging donations to support people affected by MS.

الجمعية الوطنية للتصلب المتعدد تشهد مشاركات كثيفة في مبادرتها “تحرك للتصلب المتعدد”

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 25 مارس 2024: شهد أول شهر مارس الجاري انطلاق “شهر التوعية بالتصلب المتعدد”، الهادف لرفع الوعي بالتصلب المتعدد، والحد من المفاهيم الخاطئة حوله. وفي إطار أنشطة شهر التوعية؛ نظمت الجمعية الوطنية للتصلب المتعدد في الإمارات مبادرة “تحرك للتصلب المتعددMove for MS ” مع بداية شهر رمضان المبارك، والتي شهدت استجابة كبيرة من الأفراد والمؤسسات، ومشاركات واسعة فيها. حيث بلغ عدد المشاركين في المبادرة، الهادفة لتحفيز المجتمع على دعم المتعايشين مع التصلب المتعدد، حتى الآن 2179 فرد.
