خلال انعقاد الألعاب الإماراتية:

توقيع 11 اتفاقية تفاهم بين الأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي ومؤسسات وطنية بهدف تطوير الخدمات المقدمة لأصحاب الهمم في المجتمع

  • الإعلان عن الفائزين في مسابقة جوليسانو للقيادة الصحية المحلية لعام 2024 وهم: “أدنوك” ومستشفى هيلث بوينت ومجموعة عالم أبولونيا “لطب أسنان الأطفال”
  • تستمر الألعاب الإماراتية من 7 إلى 10 يونيو الجاري، بمشاركة 600 لاعب من أصحاب الهمم من ذوي التحديات الذهنية والنمائية

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة –8 يونيو   2024: انطلقت الألعاب الإماراتية بمشاركة أكثر من 600 لاعب ولاعبة من جميع إمارات الدولة، في الفترة من 7 إلى 10 يونيو 2024 في مركز أبوظبي الوطني للمعارض (أدنيك)، وتضم منافسات في ست رياضات هي الريشة الطائرة، وكرة السلة، والبولينج، وكرة القدم، والرياضات الإلكترونية، والقوة البدنية.

خلال اليوم الثاني للألعاب تم الإعلان الرسمي عن تكوين فريق “همم أبوظبي” للدراجات الهوائية بالتعاون ورعاية نادي أبوظبي للدراجات، وذلك بهدف تكوين أجيال جديدة من الدراجين من أصحاب الهمم ذوي التحديات الذهنية والنمائية للمشاركة في المحافل الوطنية والإقليمية والعالمية.

Special Olympics UAE Signs MOUs with 11 Sports Federations and Healthcare institutions

  • The MOUs aim to bolster support for People of Determination with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities across the UAE.
  • Winners of the 2024 Local Golisano Health Leadership Awards: ADNOC, Healthpoint Hospital, and Apollonia World Pediatric Dental Clinic were recognized during day two of the Special Olympics UAE Games.
  •  The Special Olympics UAE Games continues till June 10, with the participation of 600 athletes of determination with mental and developmental challenges.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – June 8, 2024: The UAE Games launched yesterday at a spectacular event at ADNEC with the participation of more than 600 athletes. The Games includes competitions, for men and women, in six sports: badminton, basketball, bowling, football, e-sports, and powerlifting.

  • Athletes from the UAE team won 73 medals at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin in June 2023

  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, June 4, 2024:Special Olympics UAE celebrated the team’s outstanding success at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 at a special event held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center on June 3.The 103 athletes who represented the UAE at the world’s largest sporting event for People of Determination demonstrated exceptional skill, winning 18 gold, 22 silver, and 33 bronze medals –the strongest performance by a MENA country at the Berlin Games.
