الجمعية الوطنية للتصلُّب المتعدِّد تواصل جهودها لدعم المتعايشين مع التصلُّب المتعدِّد
أبوظبي، 30 مايو 2024: تحتفي دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة باليوم العالمي للتصلُّب المتعدِّد، للعام الثاني على التوالي، بسلسلة من المبادرات التي نظَّمتها الجمعية الوطنية للتصلُّب المتعدِّد في دولة الإمارات. ويُحتفَى باليوم العالمي للتصلُّب المتعدِّد في 30 مايو من كلِّ عام، بأنشطة عالمية لرفع الوعي بالتصلُّب المتعدِّد، وتشجيع دعم المتعايشين معه.
تهدف حملة اليوم العالمي للتصلُّب المتعدِّد لهذا العام إلى رفع مستوى الوعي في دولة الإمارات، والدعوة إلى التعاون البنّاء بين الجهات المعنية لتحسين حياة المتعايشين مع التصلُّب المتعدِّد، وتسخير الموارد لتكثيف البحوث التي تهدف إلى إيجاد علاج للتصلُّب المتعدِّد.
وثمَّن سموّ الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان،نائب رئيس ديوان الرئاسة للشؤون التنموية وأسر الشهداء، الجهود المبذولة التي تُسهم في تحسين حياة المتعايشين مع التصلُّب المتعدِّد، منوِّها سموّه بجهود الأطبّاء ومقدِّمي الرعاية والجمعية الوطنية للتصلُّب المتعدِّد في الدولة، ومبادراتهم المتواصلة لرعاية المتعايشين معه.

World MS Day, marked annually on 30 May, is the global movement’s day of action to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and encourage understanding and support for people living with MS.
This year’s World MS Day campaign aims to raise awareness across the UAE and advocate for action-focused collaboration among all stakeholders to better the lives of people with MS, and to mobilise resources to advance research towards finding a cure for MS.
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, commended the progress made so far to improve the lives of people living with MS, praising the role of doctors, healthcare providers, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, highlighting their ongoing efforts to care for people living with MS.

MALABAR GROUP SCALES UP ‘HUNGER-FREE WORLD’ PROGRAMME; TO DISTRIBUTE 51,000 NUTRITIOUS FOOD KITS EVERY DAY
‘Hunger-Free World’, the ongoing social welfare program by Malabar Group to provide nutritious daily meals to the needy, will be expanded to cover more people and cities. At present, as many as 31,000 food packets are distributed under the ambitious program, initiated to support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger. As part of scaling up, 51,000 nutritious food packets will now be distributed on a daily basis.
