بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لسرطان المبيض، يدعو مركز ميموريال سلون كيترنغ لعلاج السرطان، وأحد أبرز مراكز علاج السرطان في العالم، النساء في دول الخليج إلى إعطاء الأولوية للفحص المبكر لسرطان المبيض. في دول الخليج، يتم تشخيص النساء بالسرطان في أعمار أصغر مقارنة بالدول الغربية، حيث يتراوح العمر لتشخيص سرطان المبيض لدى النساء بين سن 40 و60 عاماً، مقارنة بمتوسط عالمي يبلغ 63 عاماً. وبالنسبة لمرض يعتمد فيه النجاح العلاجي بشكل كبير على اكتشاف المرض باكراً، يمثل ذلك أهمية بالغة.

يُعد سرطان المبيض من أصعب أنواع السرطان التي ممكن اكتشافها باكراً. فالأعراض، مثل الانتفاخ وعدم الارتياح في منطقة الحوض وتغير الشهية، غالباً ما تُعزى إلى أسباب أخرى.

In a statement, Star Paper Mill said the start of the full operations of the state-of-the-art KEZAD plant is a milestone underscoring the UAE’s commitment to catalyse sustainable industrial development, while reinforcing national manufacturing capabilities, and speeding up the transition to a circular economy.
