Dubai’s Piston Kings Motorcycle Community to Host the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026 for the 3rd Consecutive Year

Gathering motorcycle enthusiasts to raise more awareness and funds for men’s mental health and research

May 6^th, 2026 Dubai, UAE: The Piston Kings Motorcycle Community has proudly announced its role as the official host of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) 2026 in Dubai, UAE, marking the third consecutive year the community has organised and led the globally recognised charity ride.

A Global Ride with Purpose

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) is recognised as one of the world’s largest charity motorcycling events. Founded by Mark Hawwa in 2012 in Sydney, Australia, it brings together riders of classic and vintage-style motorcycles, dressed in exquisite formal attire, to raise awareness and support for men’s health initiatives.

What began as an informal gathering has evolved into a powerful global movement that transcends far beyond motorbikes and style, advocating for a significant cause focused on men’s mental health. The initiative aims to eradicate the long-standing stigma associated with men’s mental health issues, while also encouraging open, honest, and meaningful conversations that foster support, connection, and awareness. At the same time, it continues to have a positive impact by funding critical, life-saving research programs targeted at improving men’s health and welfare around the world.

Dubai’s edition, titled DGR Arabia, will focus on promoting awareness around men’s mental health and prostate cancer, while also celebrating the UAE’s growing Vintage Motorcycle Community.

Piston Kings, the official city host for the third consecutive year, continues to bring together a diverse and growing riding community, strengthening the UAE’s presence in the global DGR network. The 2026 edition aims to increase participation, promote community engagement, and further support the wider objectives of the global initiative, while also aligning with the UAE’s values through the year of Family Initiative.

Commenting on the event, Khan FM, DGR Arabia Ride Host, said: “We’re proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in 3 years. The ride has grown from the initial 35 riders since the Piston Kings got involved & we’re now hosting more than 350 riders who join together for a noble cause.”

Official Endorsement and Global Support

The event is endorsed by EMSO, adhering to the recognised safety and organisational standards for the ride.

For the 2026 edition, DGR Arabia will also welcome the Bobhead Brothers from the United Kingdom as official ambassadors. Their participation is intended to boost awareness initiatives for men’s mental health while also contributing to the international motorcycle community.
