22nd November 2024: Former Indian cricket team Captain Mohammad Azharuddin has donned the mentorship hat once again for Northern Warriors. The legendary batter, who earned 99 Test caps for India, returned to the Warriors camp after three years, as the franchise look to win their third trophy.

Under Azhar’s guidance, the Warriors kickstarted their season with a thunderous win straight off the blocks, defeating Delhi Bulls by 7 wickets. After the match, the 61-year-old praised the development of UAE players over the years and explained how presence of veteran cricketing stars can further nurture the talent.

510 ملايين دولار مبيعات “ميهاس@دبي” الماليزي للحلال

42 ٪ حصة الإمارات من إجمالي تجارة ماليزيا مع دول الخليج

دبي – أعلن محمد مصطفى عبد العزيز الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تطوير التجارة الخارجية الماليزية “ماتريد” أن إجمالي المبيعات خلال معرض “ميهاس@دبي” الذي أختتم أعماله أمس في دبي، بلغت 510 ملايين دولار أمريكي، موضحا أن دولة الإمارات ساهمت بحصة نسبتها 42 ٪ من إجمالي تجارة ماليزيا مع دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وذلك خلال الفترة من يناير إلى أكتوبر 2024، حيث توسعت بنسبة 11.3٪ مقارنة بنفس الفترة من العام الماضي، لتصل إلى 7.98 مليار دولار أمريكي، ووصفها بالرائدة من حيث الصادرات.، مشيراً إلى أن الإمارات تعتبر مركزًا استراتيجيًا للمنتجات الماليزية للوصول إلى أسواق الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وأوروبا.

وقال:” باعتبارها أكبر وجهة لصادرات ماليزيا في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، ساهمت الإمارات بحصة 55.3٪ أو 2.61 مليار دولار أمريكي، وارتفعت الصادرات الماليزية إلى الإمارات بنسبة 3.0٪ مقارنة بنفس الفترة من عام 2023 مدفوعة بزيادة صادرات المجوهرات ومنتجات البترول والأغذية المصنعة وكذلك الآلات والمعدات والأجزاء.

$510 Million in Sales at Malaysian Global Halal Expo MIHAS@Dubai

Dubai – The CEO of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz, announced that the total sales recorded during the “MIHAS@Dubai” exhibition, which concluded yesterday in Dubai, amounted to USD 510 million. He highlighted that the UAE accounted for 42% of Malaysia’s total trade with Gulf countries during the period from January to October 2024, reflecting an 11.3% growth compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 7.98 billion, and described the UAE as a leading destination for Malaysian exports.
