Canadian University Dubai (CUD) has launched an innovative new graduate program in public health to advance public health professionals’ careers and boost human capital in the sector. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree builds on the university’s existing partnerships with global organisations to reduce the worldwide deficit in public health workers.

The first intake will be in the Spring 2025 semester, offering opportunities both for recent graduates to transition into the public health field and for current working professionals to advance into leadership positions in the industry.

December 4th, 2024: Lay’s has introduced three new flavors – Kebab, Burger, and Dolma – to capture the essence of Iraq’s rich culinary heritage. For the launch campaign, the brand partnered with Awkward Ads, a dynamic, young, and agile creative agency known for turning cultural insights into memorable storytelling.

The film – directed by Eslam Aboelenein and produced by Bigfoot Films – blends dynamic stills, expressive street scenes, and tender moments, showcasing everything from bustling streets and traditional wardrobes, to loud celebrations and intimate gatherings. This rich tapestry of visuals features Awkward Ads’ signature depth, which captures cultural details to evoke the intimacy of a family gathering.

“For us, this campaign is about celebrating Iraq’s spirit in a real, grounded way,” said Omar Radwan, Executive Creative Director at Awkward Ads. “From shared meals to the special moments of everyday life, we wanted to create something that feels true to Iraq. 2nd December, 2024: The final of 2024 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament between Deccan Gladiators and Morrisville Samp Army that was played at Zayed Cricket Stadium turned out to be a complete entertainer for the spectators. Chasing 105, Gladiators unleashed some fireworks and gunned down the target by 8 wickets and with more than three overs to spare.

They were off to a flying start as opener and England batter Tom Kohler-Cadmore took on skipper Rohan Mustafa in the very first over. Cadmore smashed four fours on the trot to begin the chase in first over while his opening partner and skipper Nicholas Pooran joined the party soon.
