المؤتمر الثامن لطب الأطفال يكشف عن علاجات جديدة أهمها علاج سمنة الأطفال

برعاية كريمة من سمو الشيخ راشد بن أحمد بن مكتوم، شهد المؤتمر الدولي الثامن لأمراض الأطفال والذي أقيم في فندق انتر كونتننتال في دبي، حضورا لافتا من الأطباء والعاملين بمجال طب بمختلف تخصصاته، حيث سجل بالمؤتمر أكثر من ثلاثة ألاف طبيب بزيادة ألف طبيب عن العام الماضي، بنسبة تصل إلى النصف من الإمارات ودول الخليج ، كما شارك أطباء من مختلف دول العالم .إضافة إلى الرعاة الخمسين من مختلف الشركات العالمية والمحلية التي تعني بصحة وغذاء الأطفال. فضلا عن حضور عددا كبيرا من الزائرين والمهتمين بالمجال.

أقيم المؤتمر من 26 أبريل وحتى 28 أبريل تحت اسم خاص “دورة استثنائية” والذي ناقش ايضا تدخل الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجال طب الأطفال بجانب الكشف عن انجازات جديدة في مجال البحث والعلاج.

  • Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a common cause of reversible childhood blindness caused by inadequate retinal blood vessel formation in preterm infants. Approximately 32,300 infants worldwide are diagnosed with irreversible vision impairment due to ROP annually, of which approximately 20,000 become blind or severely visually impaired.[1]
