Monaco pavilion hosts international gathering on sustainable yachting

March 21,2022 Dubai, UAE: A group of engineering students from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Dubai have shared their vision for the future of sustainable yachting during an event staged in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco at Dubai Expo 2020. The team showcased their work on the electric propulsion of boats using alternative energy sources such as hydrogen, ahead of their participation in the 9^th Monaco Energy Boat Challenge this July.

منح دراسية بقيمة 15,000 درهم اماراتى لكلٍ من الخمس فائزين

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة في 16 مارس 2022 : أعلنت جامعة هيريوت وات عن الفائزين في هاكاثون "البناء المستدام" الذي اخُتتم مؤخراً وجمع الطلاب والخبراء لمواجهة تحديات الإستدامة في البناء والبيئة المبنية بشكل عام. شهد الهاكاثون الذي أقيم في جناح المملكة المتحدة في إكسبو 2020 ، 78 متقدماً فردياً قدموا أفكاراً مختلفة تعرض التحديات في البيئة المبنية والحلول المقترحة. وصل عشر متسابقين إلى الجولة النهائية ، من ضمنهم خمسة فائزين.

Heriot-Watt University Announces Winners of the Construction Sustainability Hackathon

Hackathon invited individuals aged 16 – 24 to present sustainability challenges and solutions

16 March 2022, Dubai, UAE: Heriot-Watt University announced the winners of the recently concluded Sustainability Hackathon that brought together students and experts to address sustainability challenges in construction and the overall built environment. Held at the UK Pavillion at Expo 2020, the hackathon witnessed 78 individual applicants who presented various ideas showcasing challenges in the built environment and the potential solutions. Ten entries made it to the final round, where five emerged as winners.
