The Cooperative reaffirms Support for humanitarian initiatives through ‘Blood Donation’ drives and initiatives promoting community solidarity

Marking World Blood Donor Day, observed annually on June 14, Union Coop reaffirmed its commitment to supporting humanitarian and community initiatives that promote voluntary blood donation and strengthen social solidarity.

The cooperative revealed that it has organized more than 80 blood donation campaigns over the past five years in collaboration with relevant health authorities, contributing hundreds of blood units to support blood banks and assist patients in need.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Mohamed Al Hashemi, CEO of Union Coop, said: World Blood Donor Day highlights the vital role blood donation plays in saving lives and supporting public health.
