Workplace Morale Much Higher Among Manufacturing Leaders vs. Workers, Epicor Study Finds

– According to Epicor’s new “Future of Work in Manufacturing” report, a significant gap exists between how manufacturing managers and frontline workers perceive workplace morale. In 2024, 57% of managers rated their morale as high compared to only 45% of workers, highlighting a potential disconnect in understanding and addressing employee engagement. 

Bridging this morale gap to ensure alignment between managers and workers is especially critical given the projected 3.8 million manufacturing employee workforce shortage, and the need for leaders to address current challenges and prepare for future demands.

700 New Health Professionals Sworn In During Gulf Medical University’s 26th Biggest White Coat Ceremony

September 26, 2024: Welcoming the 2024 cohort of students across its six colleges, the Gulf Medical University conducted the time-honored tradition of the ‘White Coat Ceremony’ at the Al Jurf (Ajman) Campus on September 25, 2024. The event featured students publicly pledging their commitment to patient care, taking their oath in the presence of their families, esteemed leaders, and fellow peers.

The incoming batch of 700 students will join the international community at Gulf Medical University, which now totals 5,000 students from 102 different nationalities. These students are pursuing a variety of medicine and healthcare programs across six colleges. In addition to their academic studies, they will have the opportunity to explore the field of artificial intelligence and its significant impact on the healthcare industry.

From Canadian University Dubai students to key industry leaders: Emirati brothers excel in strategic HR roles

September 26,2024 : Dubai, UAE: Emirati brothers and Canadian University Dubai (CUD) graduates, Ali Sharif Al Marzooqi and Omar Sharif Al Marzooqi, both started their careers as junior executives in human resources.
