Dubai, UAE, October 18, 2024 – Dubai-based French music producer Stéphane Boukris and Universal Music MENA – a division of Universal Music Group (UMG), the world leader in music-based entertainment – today announced the launch of “Once Upon A Time in Dubai”, a pioneering musical that is set to captivate audiences starting in December 2025. Supported by key partners ALL, Accor’s award-winning loyalty programme and McDonald’s UAE, this first-of-its-kind production marks a historic moment in Dubai’s entertainment landscape – the first time a musical of this scale has been mounted in the region.

أستانا – أكد الرئيس الكازاخستاني قاسم جومارت توكاييف أن الإصلاحات الجارية لها أهمية حاسمة ليس فقط للاستقرار المحلي، ولكن أيضًا للنمو الاقتصادي وجذب الاستثمار الأجنبي، مشيرا إلى كازاخستان اجتذبت استثمارات أجنبية مباشرة بأكثر من 400 مليار دولار أمريكي، وأشار خلال كلمته في منتدى أستانا للفكر في العاصمة الكازاخستانية أمس “الخميس”، عن دورة استثمارية جديدة بهدف استراتيجي يتمثل في جذب استثمارات بقيمة 150 مليار دولار أمريكي قبل عام 2029، وقال:” إدراكًا لأهمية توفير الدعم الحكومي الشامل للمستثمرين واتخاذ القرارات السريعة، أنشأت البلاد مجلس الاستثمار بصلاحيات بعيدة المدى لإدارة مشاريع الاستثمار الاستراتيجية”.

جاء ذلك خلال افتتاح المنتدى برعاية منتدى أستانا الدولي وبتنظيم من معهد كازاخستان للدراسات الاستراتيجية، وبمشاركة مديري مراكز الفكر الرائدة في مجال السياسة الخارجية والباحثين والمستشارين والدبلوماسيين بهدف استكشاف الأدوار الاستراتيجية والدبلوماسية التي تلعبها القوى المتوسطة في المشهد العالمي اليوم.

Tokayev: Reforms Boost Stability, Economic Growth

Astana – Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart confirmed that the ongoing reforms are of crucial importance not only for domestic stability, but also for economic growth and foreign investment attraction, during a plenary session of the Astana Think Tank Forum in the Astana Today Thursday, saying that Kazakhstan has made significant progress, attracting 400 billion US dollars’ worth of foreign direct investments, as mentioned by Kazinform News Agency.

Kazakh President said:” the country has announced a new investment cycle with the strategic goal of attracting investments of 150 billion US dollars before 2029, and understanding the importance of providing investors with comprehensive state support and swift decision-making, Kazakhstan set up the Investment Council with far-reaching powers to run strategic investment projects”.

Abu Dhabi, 16 October, 2024: Al Seer Marine (ADX: ASM), a frontrunner in the maritime industry and a subsidiary of International Holding Company (ADX: IHC), is pleased to announce that it has secured USD 80 million in financing from BOCOM Financial Leasing Co., Ltd (BOCOM Leasing), a subsidiary of the Bank of Communications, one of China’s largest commercial banks, for its newly delivered MR tankers, Betelgeuse and Bellatrix. This transaction represents the first financing that Al Seer Marine has secured for its shipping fleet from outside the UAE.
