“نِعمة” تتعاون مع مهرجان ” تيست أوف أبوظبي 2024″ لتحويله إلى فعالية بلا نفايات غذائية

المبادرة الوطنية للحد من فقد وهدر الغذاء شريكًا رسميًا للمهرجان

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة, 11 نوفمبر 2024: أعلنت المبادرة الوطنية للحد من فقد وهدر الغذاء “نِعمة” عن شراكتها مع مهرجان “تيست أوف أبوظبي 2024″، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي حول أهمية مكافحة هدر الغذاء والمشاركة في تفعيل حلول مستدامة. يُتوقع أن يستقطب هذا العام نحو 17 ألف زائر. وتتولى “نِعمة” دور “الشريك الرسمي للحد من هدر الغذاء” خلال المهرجان الذي سيُعقد من 15 إلى 17 نوفمبر في بوابة ياس الجنوبية بجزيرة ياس. ومن خلال هذه الشراكة، ستُقدّم “نِعمة” للحضور حلولًا عملية ونماذج ناجحة للحفاظ على الغذاء، يمكن تطبيقها بسهولة في الحياة اليومية. كما ستعمل المبادرة بالتعاون مع الطهاة والمطاعم المشاركين في المهرجان طوال أيام المهرجان الثلاثة على تبني ممارسات فعالة للحد من هدر الغذاء، مع تقديم توعية وتثقيف مستمر للزوار حول كيفية حدوث الهدر.

Vibrant cultural UAE witnessing South-Indian Musical Extravaganza…

Dubai – UAE based music and dance collective “Swarasangama” and Irinjalakkuda Kathakali Club have joined hands to organize a Grand Carnatic concert series titled “Dakshina Isai 2024” in UAE by the most famous artistes of the modern Carnatic music scene. 

Renowned Carnatic musicians Abhishek Raghuram (Vocal), HN Bhaskar (Violin) and Pathiri Satish Kumar (Mridangam) will perform at Habitat School, Ajman Al-Talah on November 15th 7 pm and 17th November 5.30 pm at JSS Private School, Safa, Dubai.

These concerts are the first step by Swarasangama towards preparing venues for various activities of Indian performing arts at home and abroad.

7th META Cinema Forum Day 1 highlights key Insights, Trends and Industry Milestones

Dubai, UAE: The 7th META Cinema Forum kicked off today at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, bringing together cinema leaders and innovators from across the META region. Opening with remarks from Lara Tan, Conference Director at Great Minds Group, and Paul Schwarz, Technical Director at Dubai Acoustic Research Laboratory, the forum set a strong tone for exploring the future of cinema in the Middle East and Africa.

The first day included a panel discussion that addressed the role of government and new strategies aimed at fostering a holistic film culture and supporting the movie industry alongside the creative economy. The discussion covered various aspects, including the establishment of new authorities and mandates, funding institutions, state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, and educational platforms to nurture talent. Moderated by Rory McLoughlin, Founder of Like Minds, the panel featured industry leaders Sameer Al Jaberi, Nader Al Rawahy, Georges Khouri, and Nancy Paton.
