Dubai, UAE – March 26, 2025 –Google Cloud is proud to announce the extension of its partnership with Atlético de Madrid, making it the official cybersecurity partner across both the women’s and men’s teams. This collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to innovation and resilience in sports technology.

In an era where digital security is more important than ever, Atlético de Madrid is strengthening its defenses beyond the pitch. The club has invested in improving protection of both operational and fan data by moving to Google Cloud’s Backup and Disaster Recovery Service. This service, which automatically encrypts data at rest, ensures critical data and systems remain protected and operations can swiftly recover from any potential disruption.

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 17 مارس 2025: حققت بعثة الإمارات إنجازًا رياضيًا استثنائيًا في الألعاب العالمية الشتوية للأولمبياد الخاص تورين 2025 التي اختتمت فعالياتها أمس، حيث تمكن الفريق من الفوز بحصيلة كبيرة من الميداليات بلغ إجماليها 16 ميدالية ملونة، منها 4 ذهبيات و5 فضيات و7 برونزيات ويُعتبر هذا الفوز بمثابة إضافة جديدة لرصيد الإنجازات الرياضية الإماراتية في أول ألعاب شتوية بعد استضافة أبوظبي للألعاب العالمية الصيفية 2019. وهو أيضاً الإنجازات الأكبر لبعثات منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

This historic victory presents the best results for a delegation from the MENA region at the Games and reinforces the UAE’s commitment to inclusion, building on the legacy of the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019.

DP World ILT20 to sponsor Ramadan cricket tournament in Dubai

  • The DP World ILT20 remains committed to supporting local talent and development of cricket in UAE
  • Dubai Capitals lifted the DP World ILT20 Season 3 trophy in February

Dubai, March 13 2025: Staying true to their commitment to develop and support UAE cricket, particularly at the grassroots, DP World ILT20 will sponsor the Ramadan cricket tournament to be held at the ICC Academy Oval 1 and 2 in Dubai from 13 March to 3 April 2025. 

The 22-day tournament will feature 10 domestic teams including the Dubai Cricket Council Starlets, Karwan Cricket Club, Emirates Fly Better, Seven District, Prospero Properties, Dubai Dare Devils, Consolidate Shipping Service, Z Games, Lexington Shot Guns, and GHK Properties, with over 200 players vying for the top prize. Each team will play nine single round-robin league games followed by semi-finals and the final. The tournament will be live streamed on both YouTube and Facebook.
