بحضور 100 باحث وأكاديمي من دول العالم

جامعة دبي تنظم لقاءً علميا تناول التغير المناخي والحوكمة

نظمت كلية القانون في جامعة دبي بمقرها في المدينة الأكاديمية وكلية القانون الدولي بجامعة كامبردج البريطانية بالتعاون مع المركز الدولي للتنمية المستدامة بجامعة ميجيل الكندية لقاءا علميا تناول التغير المناخي والحوكمة، بحضور أكثر من 100 أكاديمي وباحث في مجال القانون من دول العالم، على هامش الدورة الثامنة والعشرين من مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ “كوب 28” التي تستضيفها دولة الإمارات في مدينة إكسبو دبي.

أهمية القانون

افتتح اللقاء الدكتور عيسى البستكي رئيس جامعة دبي وألقى كلمة رحب فيها بالمشاركين في اللقاء والمتدربين وأكد خلالها على أهمية القانون باعتباره هو الذي يحافظ على إتزان الدول والمنظمات والهيئات المختلفة.

AUS celebrates 488 graduating students in Fall 2023 Commencement

Sharjah, 11 December 2023

Set against the backdrop of academic achievement and the promise of new beginnings, American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) much-anticipated Fall 2023 commencement ceremony held on December 9 celebrated a life-changing journey marking the resilience and determination of the 488-member graduating class.

Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of AUS, conferred the degrees on graduate and undergraduate students at University City Hall in Sharjah, and celebrated with proud parents and friends who gathered to witness the culmination of these academic pursuits, cheering on their graduates as they stepped onto the stage to receive their well-earned diplomas.

RIT Dubai students develop innovations to tackle challenges in the higher education arena

Anti-plagiarism and e-diploma technologies to promote academic integrity and security

December 11,2023 , Dubai, UAE: Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Dubai student Alisher Beisembekov is tackling two emerging challenges in the higher education arena by creating a pair of new technology-based innovations. In collaboration with course-mate Tairlan Kairolla, the Computing and Information Technologies students have developed Shyndyq, a solution to combat academic plagiarism in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI).

RIT Dubai student team have created tech-based innovations to tackle plagiarism and security issues in Higher Education 

A serial innovator with several projects in the works, Beisembekov has also established a new portal known as eDiploma, which aims to improve document security through digital non-fungible token (NFT) diplomas.

دبي تستضيف فعاليات الدورة السابعة من المؤتمر العالمي للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء

دبي– الإمارات العربية المتحدة،11 ديسمبر 2023: إختارت الجمعية العلمية لمهندسي الكهرباء والإلكترونيات العالمية بالشراكة مع الجمعية العلمية لمهندسي الكهرباء والإلكترونيات فرع الإمارات مدينة دبي لعقد فعاليات الدورة السابعة من المؤتمر العالمي للذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء تحت شعار ” تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء نحو مستقبل مستدام”، وذلك في الفترة من 10-12 ديسمبر الجاري ، وذلك بشراكة استراتيجية مع جامعة دبي ومنظمة الإيسيسكو وهي منظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة وبشراكة أكاديمية مع جامعة العلمين الدولية.

ويستضيف الحدث نخبة من المتحدثين والخبراء في المجالات التقنية والتنموية كافة، كما يناقش العديد من الموضوعات المرتبطة بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء ومنها تأثير الآثار الاقتصادية الناجمة عن التكنولوجيا الناشئة، المسارات الوظيفية المستقبلية للمرأة اعتماداً على أدوات التعلم الرقمي، سبل دعم تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي للتحديات التي تواجهه المجتمعات، دور التقنيات الحديثة مثل إنترنت الأشياء في رسم ملامح مستقبل المدن لتتحول لمجتمعات أكثر ذكاء، كما يستضيف الحدث ندوة متخصصة حول مستقبل صناعة الأمن السيبراني في عصر الذكاء الاصطناعي .

Geovision of John von Neumann University

Great interest is being shown in John von Neumann University, the only European exhibitor at the COP 28 climate summit. The Hungarian university’s Dubai stand was a premiere dumping site, as it was the first to showcase the university’s hydrogen-powered multifunctional vehicle, the Neumann H2, and the first to present the book ‘Geovision’ written by Dr Norbert Csizmadia, president of the university’s maintaining foundation.

John von Neumann University is the sole representative of European higher education at the COP 28 climate summit in the United Arab Emirates.
