Baseball United Announces Official Order and Structure of Inaugural Player Draft

The league’s first four franchises – Mumbai Cobras, Karachi Monarchs, Dubai Wolves, and Abu Dhabi Falcons – will each select 16 players

Cincinnati, OH (September 12, 2023) – Baseball United, the first-ever professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, announced today the official order and structure of its first-ever Draft. The Draft – which will be held Tuesday, September 19th in Cincinnati, Ohio – will consist of eight rounds, with eight players selected within each round. Each of Baseball United’s founding four franchises will make two selections per round.

Dubai, September 12, 2023: The United Arab Emirates has expressed its appreciation of the consensus reached by GCC nations to proceed with the ratification of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. The consensus takes into consideration the unified position of GCC and the annex to the mechanisms for ratifying the Kigali Amendments.

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 12 سبتمبر 2023: عقدت مجموعة أغذية ش.م.ع. (أغذية:UH)، الشركة الإقليمية الرائدة في مجال الأغذية والمشروبات، اجتماع الجمعية العمومية افتراضيًا اليوم. وخلال الاجتماع، وافق المساهمون على اقتراح مجلس الإدارة بشأن توزيع أرباح نقدية مرحلية تعادل 8.25 فلساً للسهم الواحد ، وبقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 65.31 مليون درهم إماراتي عن الستة أشهر المنتهية في 30 يونيو 2023.
