Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has directed TBHF to develop and upgrade water and sanitation facilities in 12 schools across four regions of Zanzibar. This strategic initiative aims to create a healthier, more conducive learning environment for children in these communities, promoting awareness of healthy living practices and supporting the uninterrupted continuation of their education.
