Dubai, UAE January 2026 – Axis Communications, the leading manufacturer of safety and network security solutions, received top honours at Intersec Awards 2026, with two of the company’s state-of-the-art devices winning in their respective categories.

Held every year, the Intersec Awards honour the leading brands and products from across the security, safety and fire protection industries. This year’s ceremony took place at Conrad Dubai, UAE, and coincided with Intersec Dubai 2026, which ran from 12 to 14 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

At the 2026 Intersec Awards, the AXIS D6210 Air Quality Sensor was awarded Best Safety Protection Solution. A cost-efficient solution designed to support healthy indoor environments, the AXIS D6210 can detect various air pollutants such as particulate matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).

The D6210 can be easily installed and integrated with other Axis devices and can trigger events whenever defined thresholds are breached.

Devices like the D6210 Air Quality Sensor not only enable immediate action in response to environmental-based incidents and conditions, they also show the power of integration and how entire connected systems help protect people, places and assets,” adds Opperman.

Meanwhile, the AXIS D4200-VE Network Strobe Speaker was awarded Best Commercial Security Solution. Built to issue warnings and deliver information, the multi-purpose speaker helps deter intruders, improve operational efficiency and support health and safety applications across a wide range of industries.

The D4200-VE is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments and supports AXIS Audio Manager, which enables zone management and content scheduling, making it a powerful tool for mass notification systems. The D4200-VE is also an existing award winner, having been named Best Mass Communication/Mass Notification Product in Commercial Integrator’s BEST of InfoComm 2025 Awards.
