Special Olympics UAE’s Unified Robotics League crowns winners of its largest finals ever

  • The 4th edition of the Unified Robotics League concluded with over 1,600 participants from across the Emirates.
  • 202 teams from 165 schools competed in the qualifiers.
  • A 109% increase in participation compared to last year.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – June 12, 2025: The fourth and largest edition of the Unified Robotics League concluded today at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi, setting a benchmark for inclusive STEM education in the UAE. Organized annually by Special Olympics UAE and supported by ADNOC as a strategic partner, the national league welcomed more than 1,600 participants across the country, including 1,200 who competed in today’s finals.

  • النسخة الرابعة شهدت مشاركة أكثر من 1600 طالب ضمن 202 فريقاً من 165 مدرسة من جميع أنحاء الدولة
  • نسبة المشاركة في الدوري ارتفعت إلى 109% مقارنة بالعام الماضي

أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة –12  يونيو 2025: اختُتمت النسخة الرابعة من دوري الروبوتات الموحدة اليوم، في “سبيس 42 أرينا” في أبوظبي. وتعد هذه النسخة الأكبر منذ انطلاق هذا الدوري الوطني الذي ينظمه الأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي سنوياً بدعم من “أدنوك” كشريك استراتيجي. وأرست هذه الدورة معياراً جديداً للتعليم الشامل في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM) في دولة الإمارات، حيث استقبلت أكثر من 1600 مشارك من مختلف أنحاء الدولة، من بينهم 1200 تنافسوا في مرحلة التصفيات.

Yango Group upgrades its AI assistant Yasmina for enhanced creativity, richer conversations, and expanded language translation skills

Dubai, UAE; 12 June 2025Yango Group, a global tech company, significantly upgraded the LLM powering its AI assistant, Yasmina, to deliver more accurate, in-depth, and context-aware responses in both Arabic and English. The upgrade is part of a gradual rollout of YangoAI, a suite of AI features and technologies adapted and localized to meet the specific needs of regional users, powering a wide range of the company’s products and services, including Yasmina.

The AI assistant now provides 38% more relevant and up-to-date answers in Arabic, thanks to its enhanced ability to analyze web documents. The new LLM has also enabled smoother conversational interactions and reduced the number of unnecessary refusals in answers by almost 50%.
