Global Roadmap Tour: A Strong Start

Kicking off in January and February, Skypex launched its highly anticipated Roadmap Tour, which spanned over 5 countries, meeting leaders from more than 15 countries. The tour featured daily leadership meetings, business presentations, and face – to – face interactions with communities around the world.

This international initiative enabled Skypex to not only showcase its vision but also to build deeper, person – to – person connections. Meeting new leaders and reinforcing ties within existing communities has proven invaluable for expanding the project’s global footprint and solidifying its position as a people – first platform.

Addleshaw Goddard strengthens Middle East practice with two new Partner appointments

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 1st, 2025: Addleshaw Goddard has announced the promotion of two senior lawyers to Partner in the Middle East, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in its regional growth strategy. The advancements further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in Banking & Finance and Corporate Finance across the UAE and KSA, respectively.

Philip Chalmers, formerly a Managing Associate in the UAE, has been promoted to Partner within the Finance and Restructuring practice. Since relocating from Addleshaw Goddard’s Edinburgh office in 2018, Philip has advised on a wide range of high-profile financings, restructurings and real estate projects across the UAE and wider region. He brings a wealth of expertise that spans both conventional and Islamic finance, with particular strengths in multi-creditor debt restructurings, acquisition finance, funds finance and complex real estate financing. He advises financial institutions, private credit funds, sovereign wealth funds and family offices on acquisitions and investments within the region, as well as across Europe and the UK. Some landmark mandates he has worked on include advising the creditor committees on the in-court restructuring of the KBBO Group and the mandated lead arrangers on TA’s acquisition of a majority stake in Alephya Education.

AppsFlyer’s 2025 Creative Report Reveals How AI and Emotion Drive Creative Performance

Based on the analysis of 1.1 million video ad creatives, the report uncovers the motivations, storytelling formats, and creative signals that drive installs and long-term retention.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – April 30, 2025 – AppsFlyer has released the 2025 edition of its State of Creative Optimization report, an extensive analysis of creative performance trends and emotional drivers across mobile advertising. 

Drawing on 1.1 million ad creatives across 1,300 Gaming and Non-Gaming apps, the report reveals that overall creative winners still matter, but marketers are starting to diversify creative investment. In Gaming, the top 2% of creatives still drive a dominant 53% of total ad spend, while in Non-Gaming, that figure drops to 43%. This 10-point gap signals a shift toward broader creative testing, fatigue mitigation, and audience segmentation.
