Abu Dhabi, February 13, 2025:

A high-level UAE delegation, led by H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, participated in the 51st meeting of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) Regional Committee for the Middle East, held in the Qatari capital, Doha recently. The meeting served as a platform to discuss a range of tourism initiatives and projects that the Commission intends to implement to drive the sector’s growth and development across the region. The meeting also witnessed the announcement of the UAE’s re-election to the UNWTO Tourism Executive Council for the period 2025-2029.

Union Properties PJSC (“Union Properties” or “the Company”) (DFM symbol: UPP), released its outstanding audited financial results for the fiscal year 2024, recording an operating profit of AED 161.8 million, with an annual growth rate of 59% percent, and a total comprehensive income of AED 395 million. Additionally, revenue generated from customer contracts increased to AED 528.7 million, up from AED 508 million in 2023, underscoring the robust operational performance and strategic growth of the Company and its subsidiaries.

Baseball United UAE Series Broadcast Will Stretch Across Six Continents

 The historic three-game series will feature Baseball United’s two UAE-based franchises competing for the first time

DUBAI, UAE (February 12, 2025) – Baseball United, the first professional baseball league focused on the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, announced today that its UAE Series event will be broadcast through 17 official broadcast partners across six continents. The worldwide footprint of coverage will reach more than 170 countries, and include more than one dozen linear and OTT platforms across the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin and South America, Europe, Japan, Canada, and the United States.
