The 10th annual Sharjah International Library Conference (SILC), organised by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), in collaboration with the American Libraries Association (ALA), has offered key learning and networking opportunities to 250 participating librarians, academics, thought leaders, and other industry professionals from 14 countries who partook in the milestone decennial edition of the event.

عروض ALJ sisters تدهشُ الجمهور وتنشر رسائل مليئة بالتفاؤل والأمل

قدمت ALJ sisters الفرقة الاستعراضية الغنائية الكويتية، مجموعةً متميزة ومدهشة من العروض التي تجسد القيم التربوية والاجتماعية بقوالب فنية للصغار وتحثهم على التعلم والاستفادة من تجارب الحياة، حيث أبهجتْ أغاني الفرقة جمهور الدورة الـ 42 من معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب، وأخذتهم إلى عوالم بصرية وسمعية ثرية مليئة بالمعاني.

تفاعلٌ جماهيريّ كبير

اعتلت نجمات الفرقة خشبة مسرح المعرض على أنغامٍ موسيقيةٍ ذات إيقاعات متسارعة، وفي اللحظة التي ظهرن فيها للجمهور بعد أن انقشع الضباب وأضيئت أضواء المسرح، غمرت الأطفال سعادةٌ كبيرة، وعلت أصوات فرحتهم وحماسهم، ورحبوا بالفرقة.

تتنوّع بين الرسائل والسرد والشعر والتأمل

“روايات” تُخاطب قراءها بـ 10 إصدارات جديدة في “الشارقة الدولي للكتاب 2023”

تُخاطب “دار روايات” التابعة لمجموعة كلمات قراءها بـ 10 إصدارات جديدة ضمن مشاركتها في الدورة 42 من معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب 2023، لتُري من خلالها جمهور الأدب والمعرفة بمجموعة من العناوين والموضوعات لعدد من الكتّاب العرب والأجانب.

وتتنوّع الإصدارات الجديدة لتشمل عدداً من حقول الأدب، بما في ذلك الروايات والرسائل والدراسات والتاريخ والسرد والشعر والتنمية الذاتيّة والتأمل والقصص، وغيرها.

Youngsters learn to play the accordion at SIBF 2023

Youngsters swayed their heads and listened enraptured as Ukrainian accordionists took them on an accordion adventure, playing music from across the world and coaching them on mini accordions during a workshop at the 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF).

Kiev-based Victor Yanchak, who has been playing the accordion for 35 years, illustrated to the young crowd how to operate the buttons on both sides of the box-shaped instrument to extract different melodies.
