At a time when it was not common to see women in the field of art, especially in the mural painting, Seema’s decided to walk with the traditional colours as a challenge. She drew her beginning lines in Thalassery, Kannur and later shifted to Mahe for the specialization in the Indian Murals.

Over the course of 20 years, Seema has been blessed to hold almost 20 exhibitions both in India and abroad. She also held a three-day exhibition in Dubai in 2012. She has done many paintings in temples, flats, commercial buildings etc in India.
Seema is also keen on imparting her knowledge to others. She has regular online and offline art classes, with students joining her from both India and abroad. And she shared her knowledge and experiences in many camps and symposiums.

Seema has also had the privilege of presenting her paintings to the eminent personalities such as the former Indian President Pratibha Patil, Lulu Group Chairman Yusuff Ali M.A, Miss Universe Natalie Glebova, Art of Living Founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Indian actors Mammooty, Kamal Hassan, Vijay Sethupathy, and many more.
