Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — 04 December 2024: Global funding for drought resilience, land restoration and the fight against land degradation received a major boost on the second day of the sixteenth Conference of the Parties of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP16), with over $12 billion now pledged to these interrelated causes since COP16 in Riyadh began.
