Sharjah sees a surge in tourism, welcoming 1.5 million hotel guests in 2023, marking an 11% increase
The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) revealed the emirate’s latest developments during ATM 2024

- Russia and the Baltics lead the sector’s growth rates in the emirate with an increase of 36%, followed by the GCC countries at 17% and Australia and the Pacific at 15%.
- More than 100 hotel establishments in Sharjah provide more than 10,000 hotel rooms.
- Nearly 250,000 GCC guests were recorded in 2023, up from 211,000 in 2022.
