The announcement follows a surge in popularity in regional run clubs which are reporting an over 750% increase in membership over the past decade.

Global icons Sir Mo Farah, Paula Radcliffe, Dean Karnazes and Olympian Eilish McColgan lead the line-up for the debut edition.
