Malabar Gold & Diamonds Launches First Showroom in New Zealand at Auckland; Marks Entry into 14th Country of Operations
Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the 5th largest jewellery retailer globally has successfully launched its first showroom in New Zealand at Auckland, marking a defining moment in the brand’s international journey as they enter the 14th country of operation. Located at Botany Town Centre, the showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Mark Mitchell, Minister of Corrections, Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, Minister for Ethnic Communities, Minister of Police and Minister for Sport and Recreation. Mr. Abdul Salam K.P, Vice Chairman of Malabar Group; Mr. Shamlal Ahamed, MD-International Operations, Malabar Gold & Diamonds; Mr. Mayankutty C, Senior Director of Malabar Group; Mr. Nishad A.K, Malabar Group Executive Director; Mr. K.P Veerankutty, Malabar Group Executive Director; Mr. Faisal A.K, Head of Manufacturing at Malabar Gold & Diamonds; Mr. Ameer CMC, Director of Finance & Admin at Malabar Gold & Diamonds; Mr. Shaji Kakkodi, Malabar Group Chief Digital Officer; other senior management team members from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, customers and well-wishers were present for the event.

The new showroom at Botany Town Centre, Auckland, opened to a spectacular response, drawing thousands of jewellery lovers from all over New Zealand. The inauguration was made even more memorable with a traditional Māori Karakia prayer, a soulful blessing that honored local customs and marked an auspicious start to Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ journey in the country.
