Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment and COP28 Food Systems Lead spoke at the Global Food Summit, a global event hosted in partnership between the UAE, the UK and Somalia, about the importance of adapting and protecting food systems in the fight against climate change
• H.E was speaking only 10 days away from the start of COP28 hosted in the UAE
• The Summit saw the United Kingdom endorsing the Emirates Declaration on Resilient Food Systems, Sustainable Agriculture, and Climate Action

[Dubai, November 20, 2023] Today, Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment and COP28 Food Systems Lead, addressed the Global Food Security Summit in London, where she called on global leaders to find the will to work collectively and creatively to unleash the potential of food systems in the fight against climate change.
