THE GLOBAL CLIMATE FINANCE CENTRE AND THE INTERNATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY AGENCY JOIN FORCES TO ACCELERATE GLOBAL CLIMATE FINANCE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY INITIATIVES

30^thJuly2024, Abu Dhabi, UAE:The Global Climate Finance Centre (GCFC), an independent entity focused on catalysing climate investments and solutions globally, and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA),the lead intergovernmental agency for the renewables-based energy transition, today announced a strategic partnershiptoscale-up climate finance and renewable energy initiatives globally.  The MoU signing was witnessed by Mr Salem Mohammed Al Darei, Chairman GCFC and Dr. Nawal Al-Hosany, the Permanent Representative of the UAE to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
