Sharjah Ruler inaugurates World Congress 2025 “We Are Inclusion”

Sharjah, September 15, 2025,

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Honorary President of the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), inaugurated on Monday morning, World Congress 2025 “We Are Inclusion.” Organised by SCHS and hosted by the Emirate for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the event is being held at Expo Centre Sharjah.

The 18th edition of the congress features 152 speakers, including experts, self-advocates, and organisations from across the globe, representing 74 countries and 160 organisations. With 59 panel discussions on its agenda, it is organised with the strategic partnership of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, along with numerous local and international partners. Recognised as the most important event of Inclusion International, the congress is convened every four years in one of its member countries worldwide.

2025 Best Companies for Women in Gulf announced

  • 42% of all hires in best companies are women
  • Women’s representation is at 33% in GCC

Dubai, UAE – September 15, 2025: Avtar Group, leading workplace culture consulting and Inclusion (DEI) Solutions firm, announced the second Edition of Avtar & Seramount Best Companies for Women in Gulf (BCWG) list. BCWG is an influential benchmarking initiative spotlighting organization across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region that excel in fostering gender diversity and inclusive workplace policies.  The announcement was made at the Best of Best (BOB) Conference held today in Dubai.

The 2025 BOB – Gulf Conference saw an active participation from the companies in the region with speakers including Al Shirawi Facilities Management LLC, Diversey- A Solenis Company, DKHOON AL EMIRATIA, Finastra UK Limited, Ingram Micro Company, KONE MIDDLE EAST LLC amongst others.

Ruler of Sharjah inaugurates the 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum

Sharjah, September 10, 2025

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum this morning, Wednesday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council. The two-day event, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) at Expo Centre Sharjah, is hosting more than 237 speakers from around the world under the theme “Communication for Quality of Life.”
