DUBAI HOLDING UNVEILS SUSTAINABILITY SERIES AT COP28

  • The Group’s programme of inspiring sustainability talks and presentations are open to the public at its showcase space  

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 November 2023: Dubai Holding, a diversified global investment company with operations in 13 countries and a Principal Pathway Partner at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), is set to host a series of engaging talks and presentations from 3 to 12 December 2023, at Expo City Dubai.

Four daily informative talks and presentations, hosted at Dubai Holding’s showcase space, will offer attendees a comprehensive overview of Dubai Holding’s sustainability initiatives, including design and construction, waste management, community development and hospitality. Aiming to foster awareness and drive engagement on climate action, the programme will also include a number of inspiring talks with expert speakers from local and international companies.

Open to all event attendees, the sessions will take place in the Energy Transition Hub, and are categorised into four key themes:

Developed through a partnership between Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), the world’s first graduate research university dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI), and Core42, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi-based technology holding group G42, Jais Climate aims to inform, inspire, and drive awareness about climate change and sustainability.

Trimble’s sustainability efforts gain momentum as 25 per cent of suppliers commit to Science-Based Targets, says report

November 20, 2023: Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB), a construction technology leader, highlighted a number of noteworthy achievements and initiatives in the company’s latest sustainability report, including the company’s role in getting 25 per cent of its suppliers to set Science-Based Targets in 2022.
