February 5th, 2025 – GAMERGY, one of the largest esports, gaming, and entertainment events in the world, announces the success of the inaugural edition of its World Tour 2025 in MENA, which took place in Egypt and it was hosted by IMKAN Misr at Alburouj New Heliopolis, Cairo. Thousands of visitors gathered from January 30 to February 1 to enjoy a multitude of activities, with official attendance by Mr. Ahmed Abdel Khaleq, General Manager of Tourism and Sports Events at the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This event comes as part of the tourism and sports events agenda of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which aims to organize the best local and international events in a professional manner that suits the name of Egypt.

American University in Dubai partners with University of Pennsylvania to establish new School of Medicine

Collaboration with renowned Perelman School of Medicine to boost healthcare education in the UAE

February 3, 2025, Dubai, UAE: The American University in Dubai (AUD) has completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to partner with the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine (Penn Medicine) in establishing the AUD School of Medicine in Dubai. AUD aims to boost medical education in the UAE by drawing on the expertise of Penn Medicine, which is ranked #3 among the United States’ research-intensive medical schools.

The new partnership will see Penn Medicine and AUD collaborate in developing a curriculum for a Doctor of Medicine degree program that employs the best practices of U.S. medical education tailored to the region’s needs. The program will educate and train medical students to become physicians who can deliver world-class healthcare in the UAE. Graduates of the program will advance to be agents of change in the field, both nationally and internationally.

AUD’s 2,000+ students come from 100+ countries to study in one of its six schools. The School of Medicine will be the university’s seventh.
