Al Huroof International Arabic Calligraphy Contest Sets an Arabian World Record
Dubai – The International Arabic Calligraphy Contest achieved a remarkable milestone by setting an Arabian World Record. More than 100 children participated in crafting the names and attributes of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in a unique event organized under the patronage of the Sheikh Zayed Global Forum for Peace.

The contest was a collaborative effort between Rewaq Ousha Bint Hussain Assaqafi, the “Thanks for Your Giving” team, and Mass Media, as part of the celebrations for World Arabic Language Day 2024. This celebration coincided with UNESCO’s 50th anniversary of declaring Arabic as one of the six official languages of the United Nations on December 21.

AD Ports Group Secures Refinancing and Upsizing of Revolving Credit Facility to USD 2.125 Billion

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 20 December 2024:  AD Ports Group, the leading facilitator of global trade, logistics and industry (ADX: ADPORTS), has successfully refinanced and upsized its existing Revolving Credit Facility (RCF) from USD 1 billion to USD 2.125 billion (equivalent in AED and USD tranches). This move aims to optimise the Group’s financing costs by improving interest margins and extending the maturity of the RCF from 2026 to 2028, with an option to extend further until 2030.

World Tennis League Season 3: Game Changers Falcons register 24-21 win over Kites in a closely contested Match 4

Abu Dhabi, December 20, 2024: Game Changers Falcons secured their second consecutive victory in World Tennis League Season 3 as they edged past Kites 24-21 at the iconic Etihad Arena on Friday.

With this win, the Falcons finished Day 2 atop the points table with a total of 53 points. TSL Hawks, who also claimed a win earlier in the day, ended in second place with 47 points, followed by Kites in third with 46 points, and HonorFX Eagles in fourth with 34 points.
