Axis has ambitious CO₂e reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative
Dubai, UAE, June 2024 – In line with an ongoing commitment to reduce the impact of its own operations and its value chain on the environment, the near-term targets Axis Communications AB has set to reduce its total global greenhouse gas emissions have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
Axis commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2022 base year. Axis also commits to reduce scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, and use of sold products 51.6% per sold unit within the same timeframe.
