Abu Dhabi Gears Up for World Tennis League Season 3 – ‘The Greatest Show on Court!’

Top world-class tennis stars including Nick Kyrgios, Aryna Sabalenka and Daniil Medvedev, amongst others to compete at the Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, October 24, 2024: The third season of the World Tennis League is here and the preparations are in full swing! Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) and Miral, is gearing up to enthral the spectators as one of the biggest events on the world sporting calendar comes back to the Etihad Arena. WTL Season 3 will be held from December 19th to 22nd, 2024, featuring 16 players across 4 teams.

Dubai, 22 October 2024: As the DP World ILT20 gears up for its third edition, scheduled to commence from January 11th, 2025, cricketing icons Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akhtar praised the league for its significant role in developing talent from the region and providing invaluable experience to players. The two legends spoke at the Season 3 launch event held last weekend on a yacht at Dubai Marina.

DRAFT COMPLETE AS OVER 1,000 PLAYERS VIE FOR TEAM SPOTS

– ALL-NEW DISNEY STAR BROADCAST DEAL ADDS TO GLOBAL REACH FOR ABU DHABI –

Abu Dhabi,19 October 2024 – The 2024 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 witnessed another thrilling Players Draft on Thursday, where young talent took center stage. Over 1,000 players registered this year, nearly 450 were shortlisted for the draft, and 107 ultimately secured spots on the rosters of the 10 teams.

The 10 franchises, including the two new ones, Bolts Ajman and UP Nawabs, joined the other eight — New York Strikers, Deccan Gladiators, Northern Warriors, Morrisville Samp Army, Delhi Bulls, Bangla Tigers, Team Abu Dhabi, and Chennai Brave Jaguars – to complete their rosters. A total of 179 international megastars will participate in the 2024 Abu Dhabi T10, making it the biggest season ever.
