  • الأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي أكبر مشاركة عربية في فئة الإعاقات الذهنية والنمائية، مؤكدًا ريادتها في الدمج الرياضي.
  • مروان سلوم يحقق إنجازًا استثنائيًا بحصوله على المركز الثاني عالميًا في فئة ILCA، إلى جانب نتائج مميزة لبقية اللاعبين.

أبوظبي، دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة،11 ديسمبر 2025:تمكن منتخب دولة الإمارات من تحقيق إنجاز رياضي عالمي جديد، بحصوله على المركز الثاني في النسخة الأولى من بطولة العالم للإبحار الدامج 2025 لأصحاب الهمم، التي استضافتها سلطنة عمان خلال الفترة من 3 إلى 8 ديسمبر 2025، بمشاركة 23 دولة من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

Team UAE Achieves Second Place at the Inaugural World Sailing Inclusion Championships – Oman 2025

*   The UAE secured second place at the first edition of the World Sailing Inclusion Championships  held in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of 23 countries.

*  Special Olympics UAE represented the nation as the largest delegation from the MENA region to compete in the Intellectual Impairment (ILCA 6) event, reaffirming the UAE’s leadership in inclusive sports.

*  Athlete Marwan Salloum earned second place globally in the ILCA category, alongside strong performances from the rest of the team.

Desert Vipers beat MI Emirates by one run in a last-ball finish

  • David Payne’s three-wicket over at the death turned the tide in favour of the Vipers

  • Abu Dhabi, 09 December, 2025: The Desert Vipers were the victors in yet another thrilling clash, beating MI Emirates by one run at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. The win, which went down to the last ball, was the Vipers’ fourth-straight triumph of the DP World ILT20 Season 4. The Vipers consolidated their position as the table-toppers with eight points to their name.

Dubai, 08 December, 2025: The Desert Vipers held their nerves to prevail in the first-ever Super Over of the DP World ILT20, beating the Gulf Giants at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday. Sam Curran (44 off 36) and Dan Lawrence’s (56 off 31) partnership ensured the Vipers tied the scores, despite a challenging target of 180.  The Vipers have overcome the Giants in each of their previous five encounters.

Special Olympics UAE Wins Gold at the Unified 3×3 Basketball World Cup

  • Special Olympics UAE secures a historic gold medal at the first-ever Unified 3×3 Basketball World Cup in San Juan 2025.
  • ⁠The Cup brought together 20 men’s teams and 18 women’s teams from around the world.
  • UAE delegation included three athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities and two Unified partners.
