The Royal Stables and UAE Equestrian & Racing Federation Host Press Conference to Launch Para Dressage Performance Programme

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 11th April 2025 – The Royal Stables in Abu Dhabi yesterday hosted the official press conference and launch of the UAE Para Dressage Performance Programme with the UAE Equestrian & Racing Federation. Held in the historic Sheikh Zayed Majlis, the event marked a pivotal moment in the nation’s journey towards building a competitive UAE para dressage team for the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

UAE’s first-ever Woman Grandmaster Rouda Essa Alserkal to play the Norway Chess Open 2025

Dubai, 9th April 2025: In a bid to encourage chess players in the Middle East and provide a platform at the global stage, the organisers of Norway Chess – one of the most prestigious tournaments in the FIDE chess calendar – has invited Emirate’s first-ever female grandmaster Rouda Essa Alserkal to participate in the Norway Chess Open 2025 which will see participation from 31 countries.

King Kai Stewart Defends World Featherweight Title at BKFC 72 Powered by World League of Fighters

Two-day fighting extravaganza in Dubai showcases remarkable spectacle by competing warriors, notes MMA legend Conor McGregor

Dubai, April 6, 2025- Dubai hosted the second night of bare-knuckle fighting as BKFC 72, powered by World League of Fighters in association with Dubai Sports Council, presented a series of impressive knockouts and skilled performances. The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium was filled to capacity as BKFC President and Founder David Feldman, MMA star Conor McGregor, and World League of Fighters Co-Founders Rajesh Banga and Sunil Mathew attended this significant combat sports event.

In the main event, “King” Kai Stewart defended his BKFC World Men’s Featherweight Championship for the fourth time. Stewart dominated his opponent, landing 156 punches out of 202 thrown, while South African challenger Tommy “The Farmer” Strydom landed 53 punches from 112 attempts. This clear difference in striking led to Stewart knocking Strydom down twice and securing a unanimous decision victory with all judges scoring the bout 50-43. Stewart, now undefeated with an 8-0 record, proclaimed after his victory, “I cleaned out the 145-pound division. I break everybody!”
