“DUBAI AUTODROME” TO WELCOME LEGENDARY MOTORSPORT CARS FOR GULF HISTORIC DUBAI GRAND PRIX REVIVAL

  • Iconic F1, Le Mans and racing cars will be on show at the Dubai Autodrome from 8th to 10th December with tickets still available.

Dubai, 8th December 2023: “Dubai Autodrome”, a subsidiary of Union Properties, will welcome some of motorsport’s iconic racing cars including the Ferrari 643 driven by four-time Formula One world champion Alain Prost, at this weekend’s Gulf Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival.

From 8th to 10th December, “Dubai Autodrome” will be transformed into a festival with the third edition seeing more than 100 racing cars taking to the track across five categories.

BANGLA TIGERS GOBBLE UP JITTERY CHENNAI BRAVES BY 27 RUNS

7th December 2023 Abu Dhabi: Bangla Tigers prevented Chennai Braves from performing any brave act and raced to a 27-run win in the 26th match of the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. After Robin Uthappa, playing in his first match, gave a quick start hitting 20 runs, Kusal Mendis (32) and Dasun Shanaka (34) provided Bangla Tigers a strong total of 126 for 5 in the 10 overs. Though Mohammad Nabi bagged three wickets for 15 runs, Chennai could not restrain their run flow.

Chennai’s chase then failed to rise to the challenge. The only brave innings came from skipper Charith Asalanka who cracked 55 runs off the 26 balls with eight boundaries and two sixes. Through a fine display of tight bowling led by Haider Ali with two wickets for 17 runs, Bangla Tigers restricted Chennai to 99 for 6 in 10 overs. This win helped the Bangla Tigers move to the fourth slot with eight points.

‘GREAT TEAM COMBINATION’: ALBIE MORKEL, ASIF ALI ON NEW YORK STRIKERS’ SUCCESSFUL SEASON

Abu Dhabi, 7th December 2023: Mohammad Amir’s magical spell of 4/7 and Asif Ali’s unbeaten 23 off 19 balls set the stage for the New York Strikers’ fifth win of Abu Dhabi T10 on Wednesday. The seventh edition of Abu Dhabi T10 is on the cusp of culmination with the playoffs set to begin from Friday. Strikers, with five wins in a row, are currently sitting pretty on top with 10 points and will face Morrisville Samp Army in their final game before the playoffs on Saturday.

Speaking on the New York Strikers efforts this year, Asif Ali praised the team’s combination and said that everyone has chipped in across all departments, helping the team’s success.

“It has been a good team combination for us. The players have gelled well across batting, bowling, and fielding departments. Hopefully, we will continue to perform in the same way in the final few games,” the Pakistani batter said.

‘HE’S A GENIUS’: NARINE, AMIR PRAISE SKIPPER KIERON POLLARD AFTER NEW YORK STRIKERS  WIN FOURTH GAME IN A ROW

6th December 2023: New York Strikers continued their winning streak in Abu Dhabi T10 on Tuesday, as last season’s runners-up went past Team Abu Dhabi to clinch their fourth win in a row. With Rahmanullah Gurbaz continuing his blistering form on top and scoring 26-ball 41, and a late 7-ball 17 from Odean Smith, Strikers registered a solid total of 110/5 in 10 overs on a tricky batting surface.

Sunil Narine and Mohammad Amir bowled well to shackle the opposition in the chase. Narine registered figures of 16/2 while Amir gave away just 8 runs in his 2 overs as Team Abu Dhabi could only muster 86/5 in 10 overs and lost by 24 runs.
