انطلاق مؤتمر الشارقة الدولي الثالث للدراسات العربية في أوروبا تحت عنوان “إسهامات المستشرقين في خدمة اللغة العربية”

الدورة الثالثة ارتكزت على أربعة محاور:

● هجرة الألفاظ العربية إلى اللغات الأخرى

● منهجيات تعليم العربية للناطقين بغيرها

● ترجمة الأدب العربي وأثرها في نشر اللغة

● تحقيق التراث العربي والإسلامي

برعاية صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة، الرئيس الأعلى لمجمع اللغة العربية بالشارقة، انطلقت اليوم (السبت) في دارة الدكتور سلطان القاسمي أعمال “مؤتمر الشارقة الدولي الثالث للدراسات العربية في أوروبا 2025″، تحت عنوان “إسهامات المستشرقين في خدمة اللغة العربية”، بحضور الدكتور امحمد صافي المستغانمي، الأمين العام لمجمع اللغة العربية بالشارقة، وسعادة محمد حسن خلف، عضو مجلس أمناء المجمع، ومشاركة 24 باحثاً وأكاديمياً من 19 دولة أوروبية، قدّموا 24 دراسة تناولت محاور المؤتمر الرئيسة: هجرة الألفاظ العربية إلى اللغات الأخرى، منهجيات تعليم العربية للناطقين بغيرها، ترجمة الأدب العربي وأثرها في نشر اللغة، وتحقيق التراث العربي والإسلامي.

Children blend physics and ballet at SIBF 2025’s ‘Moving Ballerinas’ workshop

The Sharjah International Book Fair workshop introduced young learners to the principles of mechanics through a creative blend of science and art


Sharjah, November 8, 2025 

The ‘Moving Ballerinas’ workshop saw a packed house at the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025), where more than 20 excited children came together to try a hands-on activity that explored the intersection of art and physics, with the young participants crafting ballerinas that could spin.

Led by trainer Cheryl and other support staff, the activity promoted learning across the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) fields. “We’re making a moving ballerina using a battery and a magnet,” Cheryl explained. “It focuses on motion, gears, and art in movement. The significance of this activity is that it links physics with artistic expression, teaching rotational movement and mechanical motion, while encouraging creativity, rhythm, and coordination.”

This UK-based interactive concept provides personalised “prescriptions” of poetry. Presented in small, elegant bottles with bilingual Arabic and English labels, each “dose” of poetry is tailored to the visitor’s emotional state, offering a thoughtful and creative way to engage with literature.
